We got our first ever win in the GFSN as we put on an excellent performance to defeat Cardiff Dragons 6-2. A dominant first half saw us grab 5 goals with Nicky Currall opening the scoring with a great finish with his left foot from 15 yards. Paddy then made it 2-0 when he latched onto a long ball from Fluff and finished well. Natalie Washington scored a great goal finishing well after good work from Paddy and Quin scored another header from a corner….this was after she cleared one of the line that was going in as she tried to score! Paddy got his 2nd with a long range free kick to cap an excellent personal performance. Cardiff got 2 goals back early in the 2nd half but Nicky Currall made sure the points were heading in our direction to grab our 6th goal.
An excellent team performance saw everyone get some minutes on what was a day in which we remembered Brianna Ghey
