History of club

TRUK United FC were formed in January 2021 with the aim to play fun, friendly and inclusive football all over the UK and beyond.

All about TRUK United FC through the seasons

Our first match saw us defeated in the National Affinity Cup but we gave Friends fighting cancer a run for their money before going down 6-3.
On the 31/3/2022 we created history when for the first time ever we fielded a team solely of Transgender women…A world first!!!! We lost 7-0 but showed the football is for everyone!

Season 2022-23 saw us start with an away match at Springfield Road which we lost 10-5 The highlight of this match was Emily scoring a hat trick. On a hot summers afternoon in July TRUK picked up their first piece of silverware when they defeated Stonewall FC 7-6 in the inaugural TRUK Cup.
Selhurst beat us in the Nati0nal Affinity cup as we crashed out in the first round again.
We finished Runners Up in the Clubs United 5 a side League losing one match following an awful referee decision in the last minute which ultimately cost us the title. Lucy Copsey scoring an amazing 39 goals including 12 in one match which we won by an amazing 19 goals to nil.
We created history again on Transgender Day of Visibility as we fielded the first team consisting on solely Trans Masc Men losing to Dulwich Supporters in front of 542 people. Our Trans Women team played Dulwich Hamlet Women again this time losing 1-0 to a contentious penalty.
We entered the Goalposts 5 a side league for the first time and won both season 2 & 3   with season 3 seeing us finish with a perfect 12 wins out of 12. More silverware was also added by our fully inclusive team  as we won all 3 games to win the inaugural Fans for Diversity tournament and Tonbridge Angels FC.

Season 2023-24

We started the season with victory in the Goalposts 5 a side League winning the title for the 3rd consecutive time again with a perfect record.

In August we played Leftfooters FC for the TRUK Listens Shield and for this match we fielded our men’s team, Arthur lifted the trophy following an excellent 5-1 victory. We made this a double day of celebration as our fully inclusive team beat Soho 9-0 to see us retain the TRUK Cup.

We have entered the GFSN League for the first time and will update our progress throughout the season
