TRUK kept their 100% record in the goalposts league after a thrilling match V Star which was enjoyed by all involved and all that witnessed the game. TRUK took an early lead when Lucy Copsey rolled the ball home from a tight angle and then she doubled the lead after an amazing piece of skill and a shot which went in off the keeper. 2-0 to TRUK….a good move from Star then saw then pull one back firing home at the near post and then some great work from Flora saw them dispossess Abby and finish well to level the game. H’T 2-2
The 2nd half saw both teams search for a winner in an end to end battle with Copsey coming the closest but saw her shot excellently saved. With a few minutes left Clark fired home the winner for TRUK and the 3 points.
Handshakes all round after the game followed by a photo and both teams headed to the pub for some well deserved refreshments and to talk about an excellent game of football……
