TRUK’s latest match was against Goals Aloud as we looked to keep the pressure on Stonewall and take the title race into the final week. With Goals aloud having no substitutes the plan was to keep the ball and tire them out but in all honesty the longer the match went the stronger they got! TRUK raced into an early lead with goals from Lucy Copsey and Heather but it has to be said that the Goals Aloud GK made a string of excellent saves to keep the score down…. TRUK however had a healthy half time lead.

The second half saw TRUK continue to try and increase the goals for column with Lucy Clark grabbing a brace and Claire Green having a break from between the sticks to score TRUK’s first penalty of the season. Lucy Copsey grabbed another to take her tally on the night to 9 and Oskia scored a debut goal finishing well with a first time strike. The biggest cheer of the night however came when Goals Aloud scored a great goal from a corner a goal that their hard work deserved and everyone on the pitch applauded.
