We progressed to the GFSN 1/4 finals following an entertaining match v Leftfooters which was more like a basketball match due to it’s end to end nature. With both teams having numerous chances we finally broke the deadlock after 17 minutes, we added two more late on in the 1st half to come in at half time 3-0 to the good but Leftfooters had plenty of chances themselves in what was a great contest. We managed to extend our lead to 6-0 in the 2nd half before Leftfooters got a deserved goal to make it 6-1. Nicky Currall got his 4th of the game for our 7th goal but Leftfooters were not done and pulled a further 2 goals back.
