A 5 goal haul from Lucy Copsey saw us defeat Chaos FC who came into the game as the only other team with a 100% record. We welcomed Paula Griffin and Abi Cornell into the squad for the first team in season 3 and Paula made an instant impact as she played an excellent ball through to Lucy Clark who finished well to put us 1 up in what was a tight opening 10 minutes. Chaos then grabbed an equaliser with an excellent move and finish but the Clark Copsey combination was soon back in action as Clark fed Copsey who restored our lead. A 1-2 between the 2 Lucy’s ended with Copsey making it 3-1 whilst at the other end Heather made an amazing save with her head to keep the 2 goal cushion. Copsey then grabbed her hat trick finishing well after Clarks shot was saved and we went in at the break 4-1 ahead.
A great ball from Heather saw Copsey make it 5 and then Copsey and Clark linked up again with another 1-2 with Copsey finishing to make it 6-1 and secure the points.
